TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

TRAVELER INFORMATION FORM: All mission participants must fill out this form.

HOTELS: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Melbourne, Sydney Harbour Marriott and the Crowne Plaza, Auckland. The Lido Group will assist mission participants in securing hotel reservations. Reservations can be made by using the specific website links listed below. More information on hotels can be found here.

FLIGHTS: Mission participants will need to secure their own flight arrangements for the mission.  Due to logistic complications, CGLG cannot obtain a discounted group rate.  

We have provided recommendations for "Group" internal flights. More information on flights can be found here.

VISAS: Mission participants will need to apply for a Short Validity Business ETA to be able to enter Australia. Please see the visa requirement document for detailed information. More information on visas and visa requirements can be found here.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Information on ground transportation can be found here.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Melbourne, Sydney Harbour Marriott and the Crowne Plaza, Auckland. The Lido Group will assist mission participants in securing hotel reservations. Reservations can be made by using the specific website links listed below.

Please note, that if you book through the website links you will be required to pay for your stay at the time the reservation is submitted. Cancellations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival without penalty for the Melbourne Marriott and Sydney Harbour Marriott. Any cancellations within 30 days will incur a one night accommodation charge. For the Auckland Crowne Plaza, cancellations within 30 days of arrival will incur the full accommodation charge.  If you would like to make a reservation, but are unable to pay upfront, please fill out this HOTEL RESERVATION FORM and return it by email to exhibitions@lido.com.au or by fax to +011 612 8585 0802 with your preferred booking details. Payment will be processed upon departure from the hotel if you secure the reservation with this form.

FLIGHT RESERVATIONS

Mission participants will need to secure their own flight arrangements for the mission.  Due to logistic complications, CGLG cannot obtain a discounted group rate.  It is suggested that participants book flights though a travel agent or by booking on the web.

We would like participants to book the following “Group” Sydney and Auckland Flights. Group airport-hotel-airport transportation will be available for these flights:
 
Wednesday, March 4—Qantas Flt 424 departs Melbourne at 10:30 a.m. arrives Sydney at 11:50 a.m.

Sunday, March 8— Qantas Flt 43 departs Sydney at 11:40 a.m. arrives Auckland at 4:40 p.m.

The above mentioned “group” flights can be booked on the American or Qantas websites by entering the specific dates and times in the flight search engines.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Mission participants will need to apply for a Short Validity Business ETA to be able to enter Australia. The cost of the ETA is $20. Please follow the link for more information:

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

CGLG representatives in Australia will arrange airport to hotel transportation for those arriving the morning of Sunday, March 1, in Melbourne.  Mission participants will be met after they have cleared customs.

On Wednesday, March 4, ground transportation from the Marriott Melbourne to the Melbourne airport will be provided for mission participants who are scheduled on Qantas Flt 424 departing Melbourne at 10:30 a.m. to Sydney.  Transportation will be waiting in Sydney to transport the group to the Sydney Harbour Marriott.  Mission participants not on the above-mentioned flight will be responsible for their own transportation.

There will be one trip made to the Sydney airport from the Sydney Harbour Marriott on Saturday, March 7, for those not participating in the New Zealand leg of the mission.  Most flights to the U.S. depart in the morning.  A specific departure time will be determined upon review of flight schedules.

On Sunday, March 8, ground transportation from the Sydney Harbour Marriott to the Sydney airport will be provided for mission participants who are scheduled on Qantas Flt 43 departing Sydney at 11:40 a.m. to Auckland, New Zealand.  Transportation will be waiting in Auckland to transport the group to the Crowne Plaza.  Mission participants not on the above-mentioned flight will be responsible for their own transportation.

There will be one trip made to the Auckland airport on Wednesday, March 11.  A specific departure time will be determined upon review of flight schedules. 

 

 

TRAVEL TO BUSINESS APPOINTMENTS

Each participant will receive instructions on the location of individual business appointments, the distance to those appointments from the hotel and the best mode of transport to travel to the appointment.  Cost of travel to the meetings (by taxi, etc.) will be the responsibility of the individual participant.
